Who We Are and What We Do

National Events was founded in 1987 with the goal of providing for students memorable and educational experiences combined with quality opportunities for music performance.  Over the years we have been the producer of halftime shows for the Cotton Bowl, Peach Bowl, Hall of Fame Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Alamo Bowl, and the Mobile Alabama Bowl. Currently we are the Producers of pre-game and halftime shows for the Chick fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia, the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Florida, the AT&T Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas and the Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego, California.
In addition to bowl Games, National Events has been the host of numerous music festivals throughout North America.  Among these are: The Great Northwest Music Festival, (Vancouver, Canada), The California Sun Music Festival (Anaheim), The Big Apple Music Festival (New York City), The New England Music Festival (Boston), The Desert Classic Festival (Las Vegas), and the Festival of the Lakes (Toronto, Canada), The Presidential Inaugural Festival (Washington D.C. every 4 years)
National Events conducts custom tours for individual High Schools, Community Choirs and other groups. We have built custom tours to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Ireland, Europe, and various locations across North America. We have taken High School bands on specialized tours, to places as divers as The Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Pegasus Parade (concurrent with the Kentucky Derby), The Rose Parade, Mardi Gras parades and numerous other events.
For over 18 years we have provided customized tours for large groups of Boy Scouts to the National Jamboree with tours of U.S. historical sites including Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, and Gettysburg.

About Our Events

Our events are designed to provide a unique and fun event which provides excellent educational experiences for our participants.
Participation in Bowl Game half time shows and festivals require three-day participation. This is necessary to prepare and incorporate all bands in the half time show and correlated festivities. Other festivals are typically three days in length, but may be shortened if circumstances warrant. Any tour may be extended beyond the three-day festival period with additional events and activities. Custom tours, of course can be built for any length of time.
A festival usually includes the following activities. 1. Performance before professional adjudicators. (Opportunity for competition available, but not mandatory)  2. Personalized feedback of adjudicators and a workshop with students, allowing them to incorporate ideas and suggestions for enhancing the performing experience  3. An awards ceremony acknowledging participation of every group in attendance. (for those choosing to compete, awards within respective categories according to group size)  4. Attendance to one local attraction of interest for festival participants. (Bowl Festival participants this would be bowl game attendance, half time performance,  and parades affiliated with the events.  Depending on location of event, additional venues are also available such as Disneyland, Six Flags, Universal Studios, etc).

The National Events Difference

Integrity and artistry in music is the foundation for each festival, special event, or concert tour produced and operated by National Events. Adhering to a "National Standard" as established by the National Association of Music Festivals, we consider the educational component as vital in all of our events.
To implement this standard, our dedicated and accomplished clinicians conduct group workshops that encourage growth in musicianship and in personal potential. Our internationally recognized staff of music educators endeavors to provide the most positive and motivating experience possible for our participants.

The Quality Your Group Deserves

National Events invites you to participate in one of our exciting events.
